One we ingest these two types of amino acids, the enzymes in our bodies then convert them into a chemical called L-DOPA. Once that is done, another enzyme them converts L-DOPA into dopamine. Dopamine then converts into norepinephrine. It is important that at this part of the process vitamin C is available. Once this is done, norepinephrine is then finally converted to epinephrine.
